STYLINGKITS

Your routine. Your choices.

This explains how the current StylingKits seasonal website handles information. Updated October 13, 2026.

The free routine finder.

Your routine answers are used in your browser to create the plan. Your quiz answers are not sent to our server or saved in browser storage. If you choose the result’s signup button, your hair pattern and strand thickness are copied into visible, optional signup fields. You can change or clear them before submitting. If you download a plan, the text file is saved on your device.

The seasonal interest list.

If you opt in, we store your email address, selected season, consent version, and signup time, plus any optional hair pattern, strand thickness, collection preference and $49.99 price-interest response you submit, so we can manage interest in that collection and contact you about it and understand demand. The price-interest question records a hypothetical USD price with shipping undecided; it is not an order or a commitment. Optional fields can be left blank. Joining does not create an order or payment. We do not sell this list.

A confirmation email is not currently sent. On a new signup we show a private preference link. Save that link: it lets you remove the signup without creating an account. Keep it private because anyone with the link can remove that entry.

Remove your signup.

Use the private preference link displayed after signup to delete the corresponding interest-list entry. Future collection emails must also provide a removal link. Removing one season’s entry does not remove a separate signup for another season.

Interest entries remain while that collection is in development or while you remain opted in. We will review the list if a collection is cancelled or the project changes direction. Deleted entries may remain in infrastructure backups for the provider’s backup lifecycle.

Website providers and security.

Vercel hosts the website and Supabase stores the interest list. These services may process request and operational information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. The signup endpoint uses a short-lived, hashed network identifier to limit automated submissions; it does not store the raw IP address in the interest list.

Cookies, fonts, and external links.

The seasonal pages do not set advertising or analytics cookies. Display fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives normal connection information. Hosting infrastructure may use necessary security mechanisms. Links to other websites are governed by their own policies.

Orders and future changes.

No payment details are collected here and pre-orders are not open. We will publish the checkout, fulfillment, and cancellation terms before selling a kit. We will update this explanation if the way the website processes information changes.
